Our story
57 years ago, in Agia Larissa, Evangelos Petrou began the story of Petrou Nuts with vision and passion, starting with the peeling of hazelnuts and almonds.
In 2000, a significant expansion of our activities took place, as butters and nut toppings were added to our range and our company was evaluated and approved by multinational groups for the supply of nut ingredients to their industries in Greece and Europe.
In 2016, the next big step is taken, and the company is transformed into a Nut Production and Processing Company under the name Petrou Nuts SA.
Today, Petrou Nuts is a specialized company processing organic and conventional nuts, producing high quality ingredients for industry, Ho.Re.Ca. and retail.
Facilities and Certifications
We have two modern production units, one dedicated exclusively to the production of Clean Label products.
Our technological infrastructure, the fully equipped internal research and development laboratory and strict quality controls guarantee safety, consistency and flexibility.
